More Than Just A Weekly Class
When your child enrols in a Little Moves studio class, your family also receives access to Silver Steps, our library of short movement and creativity videos designed for little dancers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you allow parents/carers to watch?
We warmly welcome parents and carers to watch each Little Moves lesson from inside the studio. We believe this is an invaluable opportunity for you to view your child grow, engage and create in a formal learning environment.
Parents/carers of school aged students view lessons from the waiting room, where students continue to recieve their ‘drink and cuddle break’.
What does my child wear?
There are no formal uniforms for Little Moves lessons, however, students are encouraged to wear clothing which allows for freedom of movement. We therefore recommend basic dance attire (leotard, tights/skirt, or shirt and bike pants/shorts), which can be purchased directly from Little Moves here. Ballet/jazz shoes can be purchased after your child’s Sample Lesson.
Drama students are welcome to wear clothing they are comfortable moving in. Socks or bare feet are suitable.
Do parents/carers particpate and what if I have younger children with me?
We strongly encourage Movement & Me and Dance With Me parents/carers to participate in their child’s lesson.
At this age, having a primary caregiver actively engage in class content enables students to feel safe, secure and supported in their new learning environment.
It’s important that your child’s attachment style and individual needs are respected, while also gently encouraging their independence and instilling a sense of confidence.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
Each child is eligible for two make-up classes per term pending availability. Please note we do not offer refunds or credit for any classes missed due to holidays or sickness. To book a makeup lesson, click get in touch.
Do you have an end of year concert?
Little Moves invites school aged students to perform in our End of Year Recital. A beautiful, celebratory day, our End of Year Recital demonstrates the development and growth of each individual student, allowing them to experience the joy of performing, in an age-appropriate setting.
For our younger, Pre-School aged students, Little Moves offers Presentation Lessons.
We lend students a costume and invite them onto the studio stage, where they perform in front of their adoring audience and receive a medal. Two different approaches, for two different cohorts, both age-appropriate, affirming and magical.
