Develop
The Little Moves approach is wholistic and integrated allowing children to explore, engage and respond within a creative learning environment. Our primary focus is to cultivate a positive and nurturing student-teacher relationship enabling your child to grow and thrive. We celebrate artisitic identity, personal endeavor and social connection.
Nurture
Children are nurtured and inspired in each Little Moves class to use their collective curiosities to delve into different worlds and transform into wonderful characters. Their inate willingness to learn is fostered and enhanced through play-based ballet, storytelling, improvisation and sensory stilumi.
Educate
Through a progressive program and carefully crafted exercises, our students develop important foundational dance technique. Little Moves programs reflect current research, connecting movement and higher-order thinking, by interlacing educational concepts which support cognitive development, spatial awareness, gross and fine motor skills, and dance technique.

Inclusive
Little Moves welcomes all children of all ability levels to enjoy the freedom and expression that learning dance can bring. Our experienced teachers are experts in how children learn and thrive, and pride themselves in creating a nuturing, warm and encouraging environment.
Parents Welcome
Uniquely, our parents and carers are warmly welcomed to view each and every Little Moves class, from Petite Moves (3-4 years) to Kindy Moves (4-5 years). Dance With Me classes are specifically designed for the participation of both dancer and carer.
Individual
We love when our students express their individuality and uniqueness. Little Moves does not require formal uniforms; however, students are encouraged to wear dance attire, which allows for freedom of expression and comfort. Dance shoes can be purchased after the Sample Lesson.
Affordable
Little Moves aims to be accessible whilst providing quality tuition in movement education on a term-by-term basis. We accept mid-term enrolments, offer makeup lessons for unforeseen absences, do not charge a ‘registration fee’ and offer siblings and dual-enrolment discounts.
Meet the Team
Miss Susie
Founder
Ms Susie founded Little Moves in 2010 to create a joyful, imaginative and artistic approach to movement education. With over 20 years of teaching experience and a background in RAD ballet and Fine Arts (Dance), she continues to inspire young dancers and mentor teachers through her beautifully crafted programs.
Miss Mia
Senior Teacher
Miss Mia began her Little Moves journey as a student and later joined as an Assistant Teacher in 2016. Now a Senior Teacher, she combines her love of dance with her Occupational Therapy studies, nurturing each child’s confidence, creativity and wellbeing through movement.
Miss Maddi
Director and Owner
Miss Maddi has been part of Little Moves since 2012, progressing from Assistant Teacher to Director after completing her BA Fine Arts (Dance) and international teaching exchange. Passionate about sharing the magic of movement, she loves nurturing each child’s confidence and joy through dance.
Miss Holly
Senior Teacher
Miss Holly is an experienced dance and drama teacher who trained at The Victorian College of the Arts and holds a Graduate Diploma in Dance Education from QUT. Joining Little Moves in 2023, she brings a wealth of performance and teaching experience, inspiring students to be confident, creative and courageous learners.
Little Moves is such a wonderful experience for our daughter. It is far beyond a class or activity, it is a treasured time for students to explore their own confidence. For our daughter with special needs, the care and warmth of the whole team gives her more access to the positivity and power of dance than we could have imagined.
